The Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) assessment is designed to measure a student’s academic achievement and growth over time in reading and mathematics. Together with other classroom-based information, MAP results can help teachers make instructional decisions that match the needs of each child.

Students will take the fall MAP assessments during the week of October 10. The Math MAP assessment will be held on Monday, October 10. Students enrolled in Algebra I, Geometry, or Algebra II are exempt from the Math MAP assessment. The Reading MAP assessment will be held on Wednesday, October 12. Any students enrolled in an 8th grade GT ELA class are exempt from the Reading MAP assessment.
