Howard County continues to encourage middle schools to engage in outdoor education for 6th grade students. To accomplish this goal, Harper’s Choice is excited to announce that Genesee Valley Outdoor Learning Center is coming to HCMS to work with all 6th grade students on May 9 OR May 16 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (students will be assigned a date). Students will be placed into small groups on their assigned day and work through various challenges/activities that require team work and cooperation.

There is no cost to you, but the attached permission slip is due by the end of the school day (2:50 p.m.) on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Please return your permission slip to your social studies teacher by that date. Students will be notified of their groups on the day of their experience.
