Heart & Sole is a new middle school program that complements our elementary school curriculum and is designed specifically to focus on the complex needs of middle school girls in grades 6-8. Heart & Sole addresses the whole girl – body, brain, heart, spirit and social connections – and creates a positive, structured space for middle school girls to learn about themselves, build self-esteem, explore new ideas, cultivate empathy, strengthen connections and develop life skills that will help them as they navigate the challenges of adolescence and beyond. Our mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

The girls will meet after-school twice a week for 10 weeks with the season ending 5k to be held on June 2 in Howard County, MD. Harper's Choice will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:50-4:05 starting the week of March 18. Visit www.gotrcentralmd.org to register.
