The Howard County Health Department will conduct a Hearing and Vision Screening on October 23 during the school day for all 8th grade students and students new to the state of Maryland only. If your child is in this group and wears glasses, please be certain they wear them on screening day. Thank you.

Free and Reduced Meal services will expire on Thursday, October 19. If you have not renewed your application for the 2017-2018 school year, click here to reapply. Students who have not renewed their application will pay full price for lunch beginning on Monday, October 23.

Interim reports were distributed to students during Period 7 on Thursday, October 12. Should you have questions about your student’s grades, you can look up individual student grade reports on Canvas. Canvas can be found by logging into HCPSS Connect.

The HCMS PTA will meet this Thursday, October 12 at 7:00 p.m. in the HCMS media center. Volunteers are still needed to coordinate events throughout the school year. Please consider attending. All are welcome.
