Quarter 2 report cards, originally slated to be released on January 30, will be available in HCPSS Connect Synergy on Tuesday, January 31 after 4:00 p.m. Directions on how to access report cards are available online.

The HCMS Rising 6th Grade Parent/Family Orientation will be held Wednesday, January 25 at 6:00 p.m. On this night we invite our rising 6th grade parents/families to learn about middle school, the 6th grade schedule, and answer any questions about the transition to middle school.

The January PTA meeting will be held Thursday, January 12 at 7:00 p.m. in the HCMS media center. PTA general membership meetings are a great way to learn more about what is going on at HCMS. All are welcome and we hope you can join us!

Current 8-11th grade students may view their teachers’ course recommendations and submit course placement requests for the 2023-2024 school year. Course requests and alternates should be submitted by January 17, 2023. Parents/guardians will be able to view course recommendations but cannot submit course requests. With the ongoing potential of wintry weather, families are encouraged to review the HCPSS Inclement Weather Asynchronous Instruction Plan. Families will be notified about the asynchronous instruction day the same as all other inclement weather notifications.
